*When you finish your quiz, bring it to me and begin reading about your poet.
*Read some of their background in the BBB.
*Get a book from the black cart and look up your poet.
*Begin asking yourself, "What do I want to know about my poet?"

-Move to the Library. *Bring paper, pencil, and your library
copy of Macbeth.
-First of all, those of you who did the vocabulary slides,
THEY WERE FANTASTIC!
-Please have your Act II Reading Guide questions ready for
me to check. (Those of you who did
not turn in yours yesterday.)
-Please have your notes on Act III ready to turn in. You
should have at least 10 notes per scene.
-Have the notes you have taken over the past week on the
table. These notes should have stickers. While you are reviewing your
vocabulary, I will be walking around to check your notes for the stickers. You
will receive points according to whether or not you have a sticker.
-Look over Vocabulary. (5 min)
-Vocabulary Quiz (10-15 min)/ Go over directions
-When you finish the quiz, bring your quiz to me and pick up
the Macbeth Word Search. Work on it
until everyone finishes the quiz.
-Review Act III.
-Watch clips of Act II and Act III. (Stop at certain points
to discuss.)

-Please have your Act II Reading Guide ready for me to

-Quickly review Act II reading guide questions #6, 7, and 8.
-Work on Vocabulary. (10 min)
-Move to the Library. *Bring paper, pencil, and your library

-Begin reading Act II scene 4 in Macbeth, and answer the remaining question on the Act II reading
guide.
-In addition to finishing the last question on the reading
guide, I want you to take 10 notes
on each scene you read. So if you read scenes 4, 5, and 6, you would have 30
notes in all.
-I will stamp these notes at the end of the class. Keep these notes!!!
At the end of the week, if you have all five stamps, you will receive full
credit for the work.
-As you are doing the
independent reading of Macbeth, I
will go around to each student and look through your vocabulary slides and give
you a grade. So please have your rubric out and your vocabulary slides ready to
go.
